BOISE, Idaho- Boise State defeated Multnomah 121-64 in their season opener on Monday, breaking a school record for points scored in a single game.

The Broncos (1-0) raced out the gates, leading the Lions 23-8 midway through the first quarter. The team did not release the gas in the first half and went into the break with a 68-34 lead, with four players who had already reached double figures.

The team kept up the pace in the second half, outscoring Multnomah 53-30 in the final two periods, including a 3-pointer from Linsey Lovrovich with 48 seconds remaining to break the previous scoring record of 117.

– 16 3-pointers made is the second-most 3-pointers the Broncos have made in a game. The team shot 57.1 percent from beyond the arc on the night.
– Boise State scored 67 points off the bench in the win.
