Twenty-five years after she first performed the function of Cinderella, Brandy is moving into her glass slippers once more.
The singer and actress will reprise her function because the fairytale heroine, first seen within the 1997 tv film “Cinderella,” in a brand new installment of the “Descendants” franchise for Disney+, the Mouse House introduced Monday.
Also becoming a member of the mission, known as “The Pocketwatch,” is Rita Ora because the Queen of Hearts from the “Alice in Wonderland” story.
“The Pocketwatch” follows “Descendants 3” from 2019. The first movie within the sequence, 2015’s “Descendants,” advised the story of the teenaged kids of a few of the most well-known villains from Disney’s animated classics.
The first three movies, which included “Descendants 2” from 2017, starred Dove Cameron, Booboo Stewart and the late Cameron Boyce.
The new story will discover characters Red and Chloe (Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker, respectively), the daughters of the Queen of Hearts and Cinderella, as they navigate the stability of energy between good and evil with just a little time journey blended in by means of a magic pocketwatch.

A launch date for the movie has not but been introduced.
