WHAT HAPPENED? Ahead of Leeds’ Premier League clash against Tottenham on Saturday, Marsch revealed what a pleasure it is to work with compatriot Aaronson. The Leeds boss made an interesting comparison between his growth and that of a weed, before revealing that the player has more quality than he seems.
WHAT THEY SAY: “Improve every day”, Marsch revealed. “He is like a weed. You almost see it grow before your eyes. It’s really amazing. He is a special young man.
“It’s so much about his ability to make late plays and slow down a little bit in the final third. It has more quality than people think. He’s a good finisher, he’s really smart with the way he sets up passes in tight spaces.”
THE LARGEST PHOTOGRAPH: Aaronson has been one of Leeds’ star players in their shaky start to 2022-23, with a goal and an assist so far under his belt. He figures in Marsch’s side against the Spurs this Saturday.
